The Fireball Generator is a device that creates a consistent and predictable fireball effect or a non-fireball prepackaged “cloud of dust” effect. In either case, a loud report (bang) accompanies the special effect. As with other devices owned by FIT, it can be used for military and police training exercises. The Fireball Generator can also be an important tool for the training of fire fighters and used in mock disasters for towns and counties, for example. The film and TV industry can also utilize this product for the production of vivid action scenes. It is simple to operate and can be mastered within 30 minutes. It produces a controlled brilliantly colored 25-foot diameter fireball with or without a “shower of sparks” effect. Users can purchase an optional shield and prepackaged dust bag to create a 25 foot diameter dense cloud of dust. The device can either be set off by means of a hard wire or with our optional “proprietary” wireless unit.  It can be placed on the surface of the ground, buried in the dirt, set in a prepared vehicle or building, or camouflaged under a rock to get the desired visual effect. One of the great advantages of the Improved Fireball Generator is that it can be “daisy chained” to dramatically increase the size of the fireball or non-fireball effect. And, under the right conditions, it can be used safely near people and property increasing the realism of training scenarios for military and law enforcement or the theatrical impact of special effects in film and TV productions.

This versatile device can produce a variety of effects to create many different combat and civilian scenarios.  Although the fireball effect is extremely realistic (and unlike any other device in the market), no special licenses or permits are required to purchase the components. Our device is the only simulator that has been approved by the BATFE and the California State Fire Marshal to be used as a safe special effects device within and outside of the entertainment industry.
